The Radford Bobcats won their home opener over Christiansburg 72-46 as they improved to 2-0 on the early basketball season. The Bobcats had four players in double figures . Kam Edwards led the way with 15 points, Quinton Morton-Richardson 14, Miles Jones 12 and Alante Doyle had 11 points.
Christiansburg was led by Trevor Howell with 11 points as he connected on three three-pointers. Jared Simpkins tossed in eight for the Demons.
Radford jumped on the Christiansburg from the get -go as they outscored the visitors 18-5 in the opening quarter. Radford then took a 31-16 intermission lead and expanded that to 52-30 after three.
