Pulaski Co. Cougar junior varsity defeated the Christiansburg Blue demons 63-24. The young Cougars improved to 9-4 on the season. They jumped on the Blue Demons 8-0 and then went on to take a 26-6 lead after the opening quarter and never looked back.
The Cougars led 39-12 at intermission and 55-24 going into the final quarter. ” This was good night for us,” said Cougar head coach Rajai Hines. ” All the kids got to play and proud of their effort.” The Cougars were lead in scoring by Silas Sweet with 14 points. Sammy Carrasco had nine, and D’Marea Bolden chipped in with seven. 11 Cougars scored in the game.
Christiansburg was led in scoring by Colten Earles with six points.
