Fort Chiswell head coach Todd Tiller said,” We made some adjustments at halftime and held them (Bland) to just six yards of offense in the third quarter.” He then added,” We took care of business tonight and I’m proud of kids. Jakubiak can take it to the house with his speed.”

Jakubiak returned two kickoffs for scores, one was 78 yards and the other was 90. He also scored a 47 yard jaunt. The Pioneers coming a dismal 0-10 record from last year have been one of the most improved team this season. Their win tonight in Bastian secures a number four seed for next weeks’ playoffs and a home game. Their opponent more than likely will be Twin Valley next Friday night.
