The New River Valley Tigers travel baseball team will be traveling to Morgantown, West Virginia.

Their first game is scheduled for Friday, June 23 versus VA Revo team. Game time is 12:30 pm and will be played at Fairmont St. Then on Saturday the Tigers will go up against the US Elite 2019 National squad with the game to be played at West Virginia University, and the first pitch being 9 am. Then at 1:40 pm at WVU the Tigers will play against the Maryland Bombers. Their Sunday contest will also be at WVU against Beaver Valley National Team with the start time of 4:00 pm.

Coach Todd Davis said, “We will be a little short handed this weekend as Pulaski Co. Cougar pitcher/ outfielder Hunter Shrewsbury and Tazewell player Sid Willis will not be able to make this weekend’s games.” Davis then remarked, “We’ll probably use Jacob Stuart, Trey Hodson, Chris Martin, Patrick Kepler, Caleb Wetzel, Conner Lewis and Wyatt Hage. Former Pulaski Co. player Camden Underwood could also see action on the mound.”
