9am – 1pm – Children ages 7 – 13

$60 per child; $40 for each additional child per family

Campers will receive instruction from current and former Pulaski County Cougar baseball players as well as the current coaching staff at PCHS, including head coach and former University of Virginia Cavaliers baseball player, Jared King.

The purpose of this camp is to help develop the fundamental skills of the game of baseball. By teaching the game correctly at an earlier age, we are giving future baseball players the opportunity to be prepared to play at an advanced level when they reach high school.

Instruction will be focused on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, arm care, and more!

IT IS ASSUMED THAT THE APPLICANT IS A NORMAL, HEALTHY STUDENT AND CAN PARTICIPATE IN ALL REGULAR BASEBALL RELATED ACTIVITIES UNLESS STATED IN WRITING PRIOR TO THE CLINIC TO THE DIRECTOR UPON EVENT.

REALIZING THAT SUCH ACTIVITY INVOLVES THE POTENTIAL FOR INJURY WHICH IS INHERENT IN ALL SPORTS, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EVEN WITH THE BEST COACHING, USE OF PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND STRICT OBSERVANCE OF RULES, INJURIES ARE STILL A POSSIBILITY. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND EXPENSE THROUGH MY OWN INSURANCE COMPANY.

I GIVE PERMISSION FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT FOR INJURIES SUSTAINED IN ANY ATHLETIC EVENT, AT THE PLACE OF INJURY, AT THE DISCRETION OF THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN OR ATHLETIC TRAINER WORKING UNDER SUPERVISION.
