Bobcats lose in Overtime

The Radford Bobcats traveled to Buchanan and lost in overtime to James River 21-18. It is the Cats seventh lost all either happening in the fourth quarter or in this case overtime.

Tied at 15 at the end of regulation the Bobcats got the ball first in overtime and got a 24 yard field goal from Conner Lytton to go up 18-15. James River 3-5 and 1-3 in Three Rivers District then won the game on a 12 yard run from quarterback Colter Hodges.Hodges passed for 146 yards, threw one touchdown. He also rushed for 92 yards , scored twice as he carried the ball 21 times. He was an all purpose player and all but single handed won thw game.

Radford 1-7 overall and 1-3 in Three Rivers District got a 66 yard run for six from Chris Carter and Trace Shepherd got a 55 yard pass from freshamn quarterback Zane Rupe for their two scores. Radford will be back in action Friday as they host the Cavaliers of Carroll Co. Kick off is 7:00 pm at Bobcat Stadium.
