Former Pulaski Co. Cougar head football coach Joel Hicks will be inducted into the Virginia High School League Coaches Hall of Fame in the next class of inductees. Hicks was head coach at Pulaski Co. for 24 years and won 210 games ,while losing just 69. His overall record was 301-96 record. He won 15 district championships, 6 regional championships and the Cougars won the State Championship in 1992. They were the Group AAA Division 6 State Champions. A well deserved and long over due accolade for Coach Joel Hicks.
