The Pioneers up 21-15 after the opening quarter outscored the Warriors 21-11 to take a 42-26 commanding lead into intermission. Four Lady Pioneers struck from behind the three-point line for the halftime margin.

“ I’m Happy with the way we play offense tonight,” said Lady Pioneer head coach Kristen Williams. “ I’m not to happy with the way we played defense, especially the second half. I know we hit lot of three’s but we didn’t take them at the right time. “ She then added,” It was real nice to have Savannah (Dunford) back out on the court tonight. I thought she played nervous but after she hit that first three she seemed to settle down some.”

All nine of the Pioneers got into the scoring column as they improved to 13-2 on the season. The Pioneers press seemed to wear the Warriors down as they also pushed the ball up court time and time again.

The Lady Pioneers junior varsity also win as they beat the Warriors 32-26. Kathy Musick has 12 points in the win. Teammates Jordan King had six and Haley Smith chipped in with five. Caitlin Pierce led the Warriors with 13 points.
