Welcome, to spring sports. The weather for this week has put a slow down on the spring baseball season. Pulaski Co. Cougars are now scheduled to have their first game Monday, March 19 at Cougar Field against Carroll Co. They have had to postpone two games this week.

The Radford Bobcats due to all the bad weather have had to postpone three baseball games already. Thier opening game is now slated for Monday, March 19 against the Maroon Tide of Galax. The game is scheduled to be played at Scott Street baseball field, next to the City of Radford Recreation Dept. Building.

Fort Chiswell has postponed a couple games this week and is still scheduled as of this writing slated to play Friday, March 16 at home versus Marion. That contest is very much in doubt.

Of course, all these dates are as you can imagine weather permitting. Spring sports and March weather, you have to love it.
